  1. LICENSE AGREEMENT

  3. By installing the Arbor Verde Press program "The Constitution of the 
  4. United States" (hereafter referred to as "The Software"), you agree to 
  5. the following:

  7. You may evaluate the shareware version of The Software for 30 days 
  8. without obligation. If after that time you decide to keep the The 
  9. Software on your computer and continue using it, you should register it 
  10. by sending $15.00 US (check or money order -- do not mail cash) to Arbor 
  11. Verde Press at PO Box 5107, Tucson, AZ. You will receive a printed copy 
  12. of the file, a disk with the latest version (3.5" only), and our 
  13. gratitude. After you register program, you may download from bulletin 
  14. boards or obtain from shareware vendors any future versions or updates 
  15. of The Software without any additional registration obligation.

  17. The remaining terms apply both to the shareware version of The Software 
  18. and to registered or retail versions of The Software.
  19.  
  20. You agree that The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any 
  21. kind. Arbor Verde Press disclaims all warranties, either express or 
  22. implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of 
  23. merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall 
  24. Arbor Verde Press be liable for any damages whatsoever (including, 
  25. without limitation, damages for loss of business profits, business 
  26. interruption, loss of business information, or any other other loss) 
  27. arising out of the use of or inability to use the software, even if 
  28. Arbor Verde Press has been advised of the possibility of such damages. 
  29. Because some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of 
  30. liability for consequential or incidental damages, the above limitation 
  31. may not apply to you.

  33. You may NOT subsume the The Software into a program of your own for 
  34. (re)distribution. The Software is copyrighted and all rights are 
  35. reserved. If you want to include The Software in or as part of another 
  36. program, please contact Arbor Verde Press to arrange separate licensing 
  37. agreements.

  39. You may, however, freely distribute the shareware version of The 
  40. Software, intact with all files, notices, and installation routines 
  41. unmodified, and you may write programs that call into or trigger The 
  42. Software as long as such programs are not bundled with The Software in 
  43. such a manner as to disguise, hinder, impede or otherwise inhibit the 
  44. end user from knowing, understanding and abiding by the terms of this 
  45. agreement.

  47. Certain portions of The Software and its installation routines are 
  48. Copyright (C) 1994 by Wextech, Inc. and certain portions of The Software 
  49. and its installation routines are Copyright (C) 1994 by Stirling 
  50. Technologies Inc. No files or parts of the files that comprise The 
  51. Software may be unbundled and distributed separately.

  53. The freely distributable shareware version of The Software is defined to 
  54. consist of the following files:

  59.   D2HLINK.DL_
  60.   INS0762.LIB
  61.   FILE_ID.DIZ
  62.   SETUP.PKG
  63.   README.TXT

  67. Vendors may distribute these files on an installation disk or may 
  68. compress these files into an archive file and store them on disk, 
  69. electronic bulletin board system or commercial on-line service. Vendors 
  70. may charge a reasonable and customary fee for disk copying or bbs/on-
  71. line service access. Vendors must not disguise the shareware nature of 
  72. The Software and must distribute all listed files intact and unmodified.

  74. Files which may not be (re)distributed either by end users or vendors 
  75. are:

  77.   Files extracted to the destination drive by the setup routine, 
  78. including:
  79.   CONSTI.HLP
  80.   CONSTI.DHN
  81.   D2HNAV.EXE
  82.   D2HLINK.DLL
  83.   D2HTOOLS.DLL
  84.   MSOUTLIN.VBX
  85.   D2HNAV.HLP
  86.   Files included in the PRGFILES or BITMAPS subdirectory of a 
  87. registered or retail version installation disk including:
  88.   CONSTI.RTF
  89.   CNTXTMAP.TXT
  90.   CNTXTMAP.XLS
  91.   CONSTI.HPJ
  92.   HELP0001.BMP

  94. The files stored in the PRGFILES subdirectory of a registered or retail 
  95. version are included for those interested in constructing their own help 
  96. files, and for those interested in calling into The Software from their 
  97. own programs. A copy of the Microsoft Help Compiler, Microsoft Word 
  98. version 6.0, and a registered version of Wextech Systems, Inc. Doc-To-
  99. Help, available separately from the respective companies, are required 
  100. to compile the file as is. Any text editor capable of importing rich 
  101. text format can be used to read, or modify the RTF file for standalone 
  102. compilation. Arbor Verde Press does not offer programming support or 
  103. additional instructions on using the map, project or rtf files in your 
  104. own programs.

  106. The Software was created using Wextech Systems, Inc. Doc-To-Help program 
  107. and some files are distributed under license from Wextech Systems, Inc 
  108. or sublicense from Stirling Technologies Inc. For information on those 
  109. products, contact Wextech Systems, Inc. at 212-949-9595.

  111. The Software was compiled for use under the Windows(tm) operating system 
  112. using the Microsoft Help Compiler. For information on that product, 
  113. contact Microsoft, Inc.
  114.  
  115. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Arizona.
